Lancaster Central School District Mission The Lancaster Central School District's purpose is to provide our students with a comprehensive educational program that will allow them to develop fully the necessary academic and social skills to become responsible and productive members of a democratic society.

Professional and classified staff in the Lancaster schools work together to provide a nurturing and supportive environment so that teaching and learning are maximized.

Approximately 6,300 students attend the five elementary buildings, one middle school, and one high school in the district.  In addition to a broad, yet rigorous educational experience, our students are offered a variety of co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities. 

The Town of Lancaster is located in Western New York, southeast of the City of Buffalo.  It is a growing suburb with a historic village district, as well as many new and older subdivisions.
